This event will be held at PAZZO'S in the Chicago Loop on Wednesday, June 24 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Lunch will be preceded by an opportunity to network and catch up with colleagues in our industry.
Neighborhood Bike Networks are a Chicago planning strategy for building connected bicycle networks in areas with limited cycling options. These efforts often begin with neighborhood greenways, one of the signature bike facilities in Chicago. These low stress routes can serve as the foundation for broader neighborhood networks, creating new connections and encouraging more residents to choose cycling for their mobility needs.
We’ll discuss CDOT’s approach to planning and implementation, and share lessons from several case studies.
