The ITE Illinois Section is proud to continue its mentorship match program to aid in developing a stronger-knit ITE community. We hope that this year's Mentorship Match Program will further strengthen the relationship-building and networking opportunities developed over the past few years. This year, we hope to provide more frequent in-person social events in addition to offering the accessibility and comfort that virtual platforms provide. We also look forward to meeting the new batch of mentors and mentees for 2026!
Register as a Mentor, Mentee or Both!
Deadline to register: April 30, 2026
What:
Register as a mentor and/or mentee.
Provide your discipline (we will try to pair across various disciplines: planning, traffic, etc.)
Each month ITE Illinois will rotate pairs and you will be provided with a new mentor or mentee.
Each month we will provide a central theme/topic to aid in discussion with your mentor/mentee.
Coordinate with your match to set up a time to get to know each other over a virtual platform.
Why:
Connect one-on-one with someone that can offer unique perspective, provide guidance, career development support and broaden your network. If you have struggled to network and expand your professional community, this program will provide that perfect one-on-one opportunity!
When:
1 hour per month, date and time are up to you
Where:
Virtual or in-person (whatever format is agreed upon with your monthly match). ITE Illinois Section will aim for more frequent socials to provide in-person meet-ups for the entire program.
