Plaque of Recognition
Paper Submittal:
Deadline for receipt of the student paper entries is December 3, 2005. If the entry is
received after this date, it will not be considered.
Eligibility:
Must be a student member of ITE during the period between April 1, 2005 and
December 3, 2005 and enrolled in a graduate program in the state of Illinois.
Must have completed the work that provides the basis for the paper while a
student member of ITE.
Must be the only author. No co-authors.
Paper Topic
& Format:
Address a subject in the field of transportation engineering.
Manuscripts must be submitted in English.
Maximum length: 15 double-spaced, typed pages. This page limit also includes
title page, table of contents and any attachments.
Title page must have the title of the paper plus the author’s name and
contact information and the ITE District Number (District 4).

Originality – 20%
Significance – 20%
Scope and Format – 20%
Validity – 20%
Applicability – 20%
